DT

Year 2/3 are learning all about the Ancient Greeks this term and in DT we will be looking at their artistic achievements, mainly their pottery.

Greek vases weren't just ornaments, they almost always had a practical use. Vases came in many shapes and sizes, depending on what they were for. They used ceramic vessels in every aspect of their daily lives: for storage, carrying, mixing, serving and drinking, and as cosmetic and perfume containers.

Instead of clay, we will be constructing our replica Ancient Greek vases with papier mache.
